How FinIQ handles your financial documents and data.
Results are stored for your account history
Analysis results are stored on our servers so you can return to them later. We are documenting exactly what is kept and for how long; until that is published we make no retention claim. We do not sell or share results for marketing, but document content is processed by Anthropic's API to provide the service.
AI processing via Anthropic API
Financial data is processed using Claude via Anthropic's API. You can review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Encrypted in transit
All data transmitted between your browser and FinIQ is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We do not accept unencrypted connections.
What we collect
Your email address and credit balance, to run your account. The documents you upload and the details you enter, to produce your analysis, and the results, which are stored. Payment details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and do not pass through FinIQ. We do not sell your personal data. The services that receive it to run FinIQ, and what each receives, are listed in our Privacy Policy.
What we recommend for highly sensitive documents
For commercially sensitive or legally privileged documents, we recommend uploading only the financial statement pages rather than the full board pack. You can use your operating system's Snipping Tool to capture just the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow pages as images.
